St. John Ambulance Brigade is one of the oldest charities in the world. It was formed in Europe in 1099.
Our Bermuda Headquarters is located in Dunrossil House at 21 Point Finger Road
St. John Ambulance Brigade is in 40 countries. Our organization is divided into Priories (found in large countries e.g. New Zealand) and associations (found in smaller countries e.g. Bermuda). The Head Priory to which all other priories and associations report to is in England. However Bermuda is part of the Caribbean Region and we attend the annual Caribbean Conference. In addition we also have a close relationship with St. John Canada.
We work under the general regulations provided from the UK. However, we are working on local regulations.
